PENN Battalion II Slow Pitch 6’8″ Medium-Light Spinning Rod is built specifically for slow-pitch jigging offshore and inshore. Designed to flex deeply along the blank, it delivers exceptional sensitivity, control, and power when working jigs between 1–1.5 lb.

Constructed with PENN’s RCB2 rolled composite core with glass reinforcement, the 2.03 m blank is durable yet lightweight. Equipped with Fuji K guides with Alconite inserts, a Fuji reel seat, adjustable EVA Versa-grip, and a solid tip, this rod ensures smooth, tangle-free casting and precise jig control.

Rated for 30 lb line and up to 250 g jig weight, the fast-action, parabolic blank absorbs shock and provides a responsive hookset—making it perfect for targeting snapper, grouper, amberjack, and other reef species.
